Exp: 2-4 yrs.

Job Objective
To manage the accounting services for Sattva including Accounts Payables, Receivables bill passing, reconciliation, payroll processing. Drive timely closure of books of accounts and publishing of Financial results post financial audits.

Strategic
Develop robust financial accounting and cost accounting standards to provide timely, accurate and consistent inputs for management reporting
Operational
  • Provide inputs to the annual and long-term budgeting and financial planning process to ensure efficient use of capital
  • Oversee the effective implementation of basic accounting systems such as payables, bill passing, reconciliation, preparation of vouchers, book keeping entries into the respective ledgers etc. in line with the accounting standards and organizational guidelines
  • Provide inputs to Region Accounts Team to ensure timely clearances of vendors payments
  • Monitor and guide the sales accounts for timely closure of sale and recoveries
  • Provide inputs to the Contracts Team to reconcile the bills raised by the contractors and ensure timely payments as per the preset contractual conditions
  • Monitor adherence to the prescribed accounting systems across the organization
  • Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of salary and reimbursements for all employees
  • Ensure timely processing of vendor and contractor payments
  • Lead the timely preparation of all required financial MIS and Statements (Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash flow Statements, Budget notes etc.); Plan for timely finalization and closure of books of accounts for the Organization, including Group Companies, Subsidiaries
  • Coordinate with Auditors to ensure timely submission and review of financial statements; Ensure adherence to all statutory requirements and guidelines and procedures
  • Periodically review MIS/status reports submitted by subordinates to analyze the efficiency of the accounting practices and initiate improvements if required
  • Coordinate with auditors to ensure timely submission and review of audit reports
Financial
  • Oversee cost control measures to minimize cost leakages throughout the activities of the Accounts Department
  • Ensure adequacy of funds from receivables by supervising timely deposition of customer’s cheques
  • Minimize cost escalation due to errors in accounting for various transactions
  • Provide inputs in formulation of departmental budget and ensure adherence to the same
